Day 212, 2012

Still watching the Olympics. Forgive me but USA is kicking arse in the swimming.  Australia just won silver tonight.  Everyone is doing so great. Why the frak have I never watched the Olympics before?  It's so good. Then again some times I'd love to throw something at the television, but that's with everything.  I didn't believe it before but I can't believe Trampoline is an Olympic sport. ..... That's stupid!

Saturday, August 4th

I suceeded in not doing much today. It was lovely.  I got a lot of laundry done, some cleaning. Dropped off the recyclables at the recycle center.  Finally found Pokey's multiplication cards for 3rd grade.

3RD GRADE?!?!?! HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?

Mr. Monkey Butt picked up my new book for the reading club I joined with some Facebook friends.  I'm excited to read something, not to sure how good I will be at talking about the book and being in a club, but I'm excited to get some new reading on.

We're reading Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter.

Anyone read it? Saw the movie?

Well it's time for me to call it quits tonight, just wanted to write some words.  Have an awesome Sunday, it's off to the church with Mama and Papa Monkey Butt in the morning. They love us being there, that's all that matters!!

Hang in there!

  2. When I saw the preview for the Abraham Lincoln movie, I almost thought it was a joke. I am even more amazed that it was a book first! But now that I think about it, I guess it goes with that whole new genre of taking classic novels and putting zombies or other monsters in them. Interesting. You'll have to give us your review!

  3. I haven't watched a bit of the Olympics. I'm just pulling up lame lately, odd hours and cat naps. Kitchen manager got fired this week and after working nights all this time I had to go in a 8AM yesterday. The owner and wife are going through divorce, just learned this yesterday. That's never good when it comes to dividing up the businesses (Two restaurants) hoping I just get out in time before the walls cave in ; )

I don't know how I missed the gurls beach volleyball in the Olympics and lady's tennis : ) I'm such a pig! I'll try harder next week!

  4. This is the first Olympics I've watched frequently too and I have no idea why - maybe it's because it's in London lol

  5. Hope today was a great Sunday for you and your folks. We got a much needed heavy shower around lunchtime so maybe it'll cool things off some. Have a great afternoon and night, Monday's coming.

    1. I don't remember what I thought about the previews, as I've said before I love some vamps so I'm always a sucker for that. So far it's an OK book. Can't see the movie till I'm done!
