A random post: Friendships and weather

8:00 AM-ish

My Facebooker friends have already seen this picture today, for those who aren't friends with me on the Facebook check the MB Facebook wall, it should be there as well. There is a clicker on my blog for the MB page, mind you I will be attempting to transition my MB page into it's own thing so that it isn't tied to my  personal Facebook page. A lot to get out there and a waste I'm sure.

So this morning we've rain, lots of rain. It woke me up and woke Pokey as well. She came in and hoped in bed with me and MAXimus!  That dog is such a brat I tell you. I'm betting he sleeps most comfy of us all. I can't find comfort because I sleep with him crammed next to me and I know this so I'm terrified of squishing him. I've even woke up before thinking Mr. Monkey Butt had rolled over on him or something and was frantic to push him away from MAXimus.  Terrible isn't it!

It's 10:30AM-ish and the rain has passed. I don't know if we're suppose to get more today or not.  I'm terrible at watching the new lately, so we'll see what happens. Pokey wants to go swimming after work today, we'll see.

Moving along ...

Sissy MB sent me a picture this morning of a wine bottle she seen at K-Roger this morning.  It's a wine bottle for breast cancer awareness.  What.The.Fuck.  The news made sure to tell us women folks, over and over again that our previous thinkings that we could drink wine and love life, that it's good for us to have a glass a day. Now we're doomed to breast cancer if we drink alcohol. A big FUH-Q to the asshat that thought that was a good idea.

Why yes you're right, I am being super sensitive about a lot of shit!!  Forgive me?

Now for the finale, many of you have seen me complaining about friendships lately, I know I've at least two posts on it. So this morning I check my Facebook email and what do I have? An email from a 'stranger' telling me, confirming really, that a friend of mine isn't the friend that I think she is. Now why the hell would someone send me an email like that? Should I run to think she's talking shit about me?  Ranting to her friends about me and this 'stranger' is hearing about it because they happen to be a lot closer to the situation than I am? My gut  is telling me to delete this bitch, because A) I don't know and B) I don't give a shit anyway. She's one of the few that have been on my list anyways.

I got a lot to think about and honestly I'm hoping to hear back from said 'stranger'  because I'd love a bit more information and then I'm going to the bitch that thinks it's wise to say some shit like that.

There I go, being one of those over sensitive American's again.

Forgive my ranting today :)

Hang in there!

    1. That's the thing though, I'm calling them a stranger as to avoid naming any names. I know the stranger, not very well. The other half is friends with my friend too. I think I'm even friends with them both.

  3. Thus gossip turns me dead off. I cringe when sitting in a restaurant next to these storytellers. Always seems to end with "this person is talking about me, and I told someone else blah-blah... I say, if you don't want talked about, don't talk about others. That way, either others will see you as a good person, or at least you'll have a clean conscience when they don't.

    1. Gossip and Drama, it makes my blood BOIL. I do anything and everything to avoid drama in my life. I don't have room for it, I don't have time for it! I did tell someone else about it though, someone I trusted, like you all. Hoping they would give me a little advice as to what I should do in a situation. But of course, I always figure it out when I put it down. Go figure!

  4. If it was me, I'd try and get as much information out of said stranger as possible. Save every email to use as proof if you ever decide to confront anyone. After that, I'd just delete and block. I can be quite the sneaky bitch when I want to be lol!

  5. Rant away and if got and email from a stranger telling me that type of shit I would say thank you but are you being nice or just trying to stir up trouble...........I am not the most trusting person I doubt stuff said to me like that from strangers.........

Next it seems to me if you do A your will get cancer if your do B you will get cancer if you do neither you will get cancer...........so I do not consider whether I will get cancer when I am eating or drinking or do A or B I live my life and if I can cancer then I will deal with it then and not worry about it now......

    1. They made sure to tell me they didn't want to cause trouble, then why would they tell me? Some people don't really think things through sometimes!

I didn't want to believe what he was telling me, though I did have gut feeling that he could be right.

And the cancer thing....UGH! I know, it is what it is. Im a mess in regards to that stuff! I wish that I weren't. I wish, I wish, I could wish all day. Sadly it won't change a thing!

  6. Perhaps this is the latest thing, anonymous facebook messages to stir up trouble. Copped one myself.
Only you know what you want to believe. and what you need to do.

  7. If something bothers you, get rid of it (e.g., a Facebook friend). Facebook can be annoying anyway.
As far as rain, whenever the sky opens up and I watch things in my backyard start to float away, inevitably I'll hear, "You know, we really need the rain. Have you SEEN the lawn?"
Yeah, it's what's under all that frikkin' water.
I thought wine just gave you heartburn, robbed you of your power of speech, and caused you to pee in the bedside nightstand (not saying I ever did that. Of course, I'm not saying I never did that either). Now it gives you cancer, too? Great Googli Moogli!
Seriously, delete (or, to use the FB parlance: "unfriend") anyone who aggravates you. Goodness knows I do.
Too bad if they won't be able to see any pictures I post anymore.
F 'em. They were bugging me.

  8. Wish that rain would travel up north for a while. We are so dry and parched. Sorry you are having difficulties with the "friend" thing and hope the drama calms down for you quickly. Don't want a frown coming on that pretty face.
    Hugs,
    Odie
