Music For A Tuesday: Shugah!

There isn't a childhood memory that doesn't have MTV, back when it was actually Music Television, none of this reality show bullshit they're running now. You know, they actually played music videos, with people actually playing musical instruments. What the frak happened?  When we were kids, watching MTV was awesome, rainy days or just times when we just couldn't be outside.  This video was one of my favorites, also loved that "Jump" video of Van Halen's. We'd sit and watch the video and jump when he'd say "go ahead and jump, JUMP!"

We lived many years in Athens, GA.  It was a lovely little town, we didn't get out much, but we did spend a lot of time outside, climbing trees, playing ball, riding bikes and pine cone wars. Pine cone wars was always my favorite.

OK OK so this one is sending me down memory lane, lovely times. Back before Mama Monkey Butts epilepsy came into our lives ...

Dude there, was totally hawt to me. I had a total crush on the singer from Def Leppard and his holy  jeans, yummers.  Mind you in 1987 I was just 6 years  old.  I'm shocked really that at such a young age I was so googley eyes over any boy.  Makes sense though, my darling Pokey recently went through her first Bieber crush, started around 6 for her also.

So there ya have it, a blast from the past and a trip down Monkey Butts memory lane.  bits and pieces anyway.

Have a rawking Tuesday folks,

Hang in there!

  1. I am so old, I remember when MTV was pooping in it's pants : )

Have a great day Doria, OMG it's supposed to get up to 108 degrees tomorrow! This is the hottest/driest summer in my memory.

We are in the grips of a long term dought here, and the corn and soy beans are drying up and dying in the fields here!

Since we now use corn to make ethanol as an additive for gasoline, that it's tied to the price of everything and causes prices of everything to go up!

    Peace
