Guess who's back...

Lookie Lookie who's back!  I fixed my hair!  I say fixed, because it was broken. That mess of a blond and light brown, was it broken. 

I love my black hair and after tasting the rainbow (that sounds funny) I am offically calling this my look, well color.  I know I get bored and make mistakes, but hopefully this is the last time I get bored enough to think I'd look ok as a blond, or light brown or even red.  Because though I get plenty of compliments no matter the color, I feel most like me when it's this adorable black color.

 So, welcome back .. ME!

It seems like forever since I've dyed my hair. It's making me crazy.  I've got dandruff and just yuck yuck yuck. Can't remember why I stopped for a little while.  Did I even mention that on here?

I've had a busy day today with posts, making no exceptions and attempting to get them all done. I hope you all enjoyed today's music and read my post for 9/11 today.  I hope you all sent out your well wishings and happy vibes for the world today. 

Watching some Tomb Raider right now, not one of my favorites.  I had no idea it had Gerard Butler in it though.  Then again I've never watched these movies. Guess Mr MB likes it, Angelina was never the hottest woman in the world, though I can understand why some men and women might think she is.  Must be the full, pouting lips?

So today was the boss lady's birthday. That must have been a shitty year back in 2001 huh?  Regardless we celebrated with some cake, ice cream and pizza. It was... nice.  She makes me crazy, but it was good to do something nice for her. For once!

I'm still working on reading "Where we Belong". It's a good book and hits home from time to time. Not personally of course but I've a bit more insight on how Mama MB might feel and my adopted brother.  You read that right, I've a brother, who lives in another state. Mama MB gave him up for adoption 20 something years ago. Some of you are aware already.  But he came into our lives, briefly some years ago and it didn't really last long.  I've never talked to him about how he felt or what he wanted out of the trip, but it is what it is.  I just hope he's happy in whatever he's doing these days. 

Well I've gone on and on enough, need to save something for tomorrow, ya know?  I hope everyone had a fantabulous day.  Till later,

Sunday already? 2012

Happy Sunday my Dingleberries!  I'm seeing posts from Pablos  Angel and According 2 Jewels for the awesome post cards.  So glad they are trickling their way to their destinations.  A little piece of Atlanta for all of you out in your corner of the  blogosphere!  :)

It's been a normal weekend around here. Spent time with Mama and Papa Monkey Butt. Got some cleaning done and spent a few minutes at the pool.  I'm still super tired and painful! I'm walking in the afternoons trying to help work it out, it isn't really working.

I've hit a bump in my social life, I just really don't want to spend time with anyone, mainly friends.  I don't know why. I think it's my depression or something.  I hate  it really, but hopefully it will push me to work harder to get  past my down times right now!  Fingers crossed, right?

Yummy dinner at a local Chinese place after getting all off Pokey's hair chopped off.  She seems to love it but worries, constantly that it's going to grow back before daycare Monday (tomorrow) morning. She's so silly!

Spent the day with Mama and Papa Monkey Butt, got home just in time to take MAXimus out before he exploded.  One of the asshat maintenance guys came by while we weren't home to fix the a/c I'd already fixed and turned our thermostat down to like 71!  WTF?!  People crazy!  The windows were foggy it was so cold.  IDIOTS!

July 8th, 2012

Got my hair trimmed up, thank gawd and added some dark brown color to it. I'm diggn it.  We discovered after purchase and getting home for application that it's a temporary color.  Ooops, oh well. I'm fine with that. I'm sure some of it will hang onto the hair anyway. Works for me!

Hope everyone had an awesome weekend. It's back to work tomorrow, which SUCKS!  But whatever,  5 more days until the weekend, again. 

The finance people are wanting to have the paperwork done tomorrow.  So maybe we will be closing soon.  I'm hoping anyways.  ready to get this move on...  :)

Hopefully we will see ya tomorrow, they're saying the interwebs may go down with some new virus stuff or something... Whatevers!

Day 160, 2012

Happy Wednesday Dingleberries,  How many of us caught this weeks WILW?  Hopefully the cakes didn't make you as hungry as they did me.  I've been looking online quite a bit today trying to find a cook cake to make my Dad for Dad's Day. It should be interesting... Any of you have any recipes for sugar free, diabetic friendly cakes send them on over.  Especially if you've tried them personally and would recommend.  I think I know what I'm going to buy him for Dad's Day. Not going to share it here though, wouldn't want anyone snitching away the surprise or anything!  Ya know how that goes?

It's been a slowish, helluva kind of day today.

Heard bad news from Mr. Monkey Butt that a friend of his killed himself today. Very sad. I knew him from work in a different life time. Hadn't seen him since then and I think that was only rarely that we worked a shift together.  Nice person though. Very sad day and what a loss.  Suicide is never the way to go.   Thoughts go out to his family and close friends.

I changed my hair color. Can you tell? What are your thoughts?  I did it all by myself too. I couldn't believe I did it, and I didn't eff it up.  I'm really quite pleased with myself. I'm no longer a virgin to hair color. By that I mean with actually dying it!  Someone has always done my hair for me and I've never done anyone else s.  Now I know, I got this (so long as it's short) The color is a bit different, but it's growing on me. Hoping it will fade out a little and lighten slightly.  Shall see!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Well hello Dingleberries.  Happy Wednesday (hump day) to you all. It's been a slow week around here, which means I've no excuse for this post coming in so late today. tisk tisk tisk.  That being said, let's get to this, I know  ya'lls got better thangs to do on this oh so lovely day.  Unfortunately, I'm at work all day,

I've actually decided to bake my dad a cake or something awesome and tasty for Dad's day. He's diabetic so it's  a task finding something sugar free. I'm hoping it turns out OK.

That's right it's a new season and I've seen every episode so far, not on time of course, for 2 of them. But I'm caught up regardless. It's always been one of my favorite shows. Something about cooking shows and home improvements, I'm such a nerd!

Friday, May 18th

I'm going to have a color change (hair color that is) tonight. I'm excited, well a little.  I have not picked my color yet, though I'm getting a lot of votes for red.  Go figure.. I'm already close to a shade of red, well... not really.

So I will decide later when I hit the store for the color.  Yesss!  Just glad that it will be done later.

I need to pick up a basket for the front of my bike. We're going to take a trip up to one of the national parks in our state, never been before. It's out in Kennessaw, GA.  So it should be a bit of a road trip. It's pet friendly and old battle field apparently with some trails and all.  I'm planning on biking the trails, letting Maximus enjoy the outing as well (that's what the basket is for). He will get some walking time in as well, though no real running room, unless it's  a quiet day there.  We will see. If all fails then he can hit the doggie park on Sunday and get his run out!

We're also planning to hit the lake on Sunday with some awesome friends. I'm totally digging my new friend H. She's really super awesome and has two adorable girls for my girl to play with. She lives close and so far we seem to have a good bit in common and our personalities are similar.  No clashes as of yet!

Yay for weekends!  I'm hoping to get some posting done this weekend, ya know I'm taking next Friday through  Tuesday off next week. No postings for you then, but will do my best to post in advance!! If anyone wants to fill some space while I'm on vacation, let me know. Guest posts aren't something I've dabbled in before, but am wanting to give it a shot.  Let me know, kcdoe27 (at) hotmail (dot) com

Pokey has 3 days of school next week!  3!  We've made a deal, if she get an S or an E for her behavior at school, she can have the tall converse shoes she's been wanting. I'm hopeful she can keep it together. It's been a long time since I've been able to give her something she wants. We had a falling out with the last shoes she got. She was in the mode to treat any one and every one like shit. Miss Spoiled Rotten To The Bone got anything and everything she wanted.

Parenting is a real pain the arse!

Ahhh Friday. Lovely. It was terribly slow until it was time for me to go home. Yea, someone showed up to get their impounded car. The phone rang 38472938 times and of course it started raining at a time like this when I was unable to roll the windows up.

I discovered ( well deemed a new law) pink isn't the best color for me. Odd.  Also, just to spoil something, this is my last day of blond hair.  Whewt!

Ah damn, so the color I picked didn't turn out the way it was suppose to. My hair is GREY again.  Uggghhhh nightmare. Of course by the time I did this to myself it was too late in the day to try and fix it again.  I had made plans for the day and they were already late.  Talk about a crisis. So I pulled out the lovely wig and ran out in that. Hello!  No way I was going out in public at 20 years old with a grey head like that. Ugh.  Just terrible.  It was an awesome day and awesome night.  Was glad for that.

Happy Sunday and after going out this morning for some different hair color we finally got it covered by the afternoon. Whew! Thank gawd it worked. I didn't have time for anything else.  It's a nice brown and it will do.  I can't complain because well (see Saturday) I just had grey hair yo!   Awfulness!  Sucks I have to go to work tomorrow, but it's just the way it goes.  Pokey comes home tomorrow, so that gives me something to look forward to.

So folks, that's all I got because I fell behind over the weekend and now I must go to bed. Late dinnah and true blood was awesome. That Eric, somehow, even in his knowing nothingness at this point in the show.  He's hawter now!  *swoon*

Well happy Monday?  Nah I doubt it.  But lets say for now this is the last "blond" picture we will see for a bit.  My Mom dyed my hair for me and well it's still blondish but to me it looks like it has a nice...cement... color in it. 

Ash blond... First time (and last) for everything. This is when I was freaking after the color was put on and for some reason it struck me as grey/silver.  Mom and I finally joked/agreed it was a nice cement color and yes I mean, cement block color.  ha ha.. We also jokingly called it "soot"  because it's ash.  Oh well. Late night humor I guess. Either way!  FUN TIMES!

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!  AND LET ME JUST SAY, SORRY I DIDN'T TELL YOU AWESOME READER MOMS UNTIL NOW!  IT WAS A WONDERMUS DAY!  Spent it at home, cleaning, getting yelled at for making messes while cleaning, but I got it clean.  Picked up my stuff from the front yard so he had to stop yelling at me for that!  All in all is was an awesome day!

Back to work today. Blarg. Sad news came today, great grandmother died!  Very sad news. I feel the urge to blame the hospitals and doctors.  But of course I guess it just happens.  She was old.  She probably got pissed that she couldn't have a cigarette and just gave up. Weird how that happens. For those believers, which exist in my family, she is in a better place!

Well hello Tuesday, I went on a rant earlier about the voice mail thing, but hey whats new, I'm always ranting!  ha ha.  I realized halfway to work this morning that I didn't bring any clothes with me for the viewing, or whatever it's called, for Great Grandmother.  Damn!  Oh well.  I went under dressed, just from work, looking like HELL!  There were A BUNCH of people there that I had no idea who they were. Luckily I had some family members there. My Dad's sister and husband showed up and they had no idea who I was, same for me. It had been too long.  There is a crowd of family members I hang with on a regular basis, the rest of them I have no idea!  ha ha.  So it went well. Came home, kinda late and ate some leftover, really didn't feel like stopping anywhere and spending money.  Good for me wallet I guess.  I'm thinking about giving up on the whole bank thing. Think I can make it without a bank?  I really doubt it.    So here I sit. I'm tired.  It's only 10pm.

ps.. Im in the mood for a change in the hair.  Any ideas?   

Day 65, 365 days of 2011

Hello... well just about goodbye day 65.  Can't believe Ive been at this for 65 days. I will admit I have missed a couple of them along the way but I'd say all in all, it's going... OK.  I R Proud of myself... A little. 

So yesterdays lunch with my girl friend was fun.  Lawd knows I never have lunch dates with girl friends, so it was a change of pace and a nice breath of fresh air. The weather sucked arse.  Rained all day yesterday.  It was no fun at all. Glad that is over. Now it's just cold and miserable here. Ugh!!  Maybe I get lucky and we have some nice weather over the weekend. *fingers crossed*

So I'm thinking about adding some brown streaks to my hair, nothing to drastic. I've got a lot of good reviews on my blond hair, so I'm thinking about keeping it, for a minute.  But Lawd knows I simply must change it constantly and my head is feeling better now.  Ideas?  Thoughts?  I'm open to whatever. Need to get it cut. It's shaggy and crappy.

Did I tell you all I passed my motorcycle knowledge test?  I now have a learners permit to drive a motorcycle. I'm pretty fricking excited!  I'm a little terrified and am in the market for a scooter. I only did it so I could get a scooter. I've not decided if I'm cool enough to ride a motorcycle. So I shall stick to the dorkier version, called a scooter.  ha ha. It should be a lot of fun!  Right?  If you ever had the passing thought to go take the learners test... It's easy peasy, well in GA it is.  ha ha... If you can read, you can pass the test. I did miss one question though.  There were 20 questions, you were allowed to miss 5.  I missed the one when it asked what will happen if your back tire goes flat. I don't remember reading that in the book. Bastards! 

District 9. Yea. It's on the television right now.  um... It's early in the movie.  Um...WTF?  Sorry sci-fi folks. I don't get it. I've not watched the whole movie, to be honest, I'm not sure I have the ability or the patience to sit through this one.  Someone tell me about it. Or has anyone actually watched it?  Where are the zombies?  WTF District 9?  Sheesh!

Day 50, 365 days of 2011

DAY 50!  Lawd and what a day it was.  I warned you all last night I was changing my hair again,  ha ha...  Wowza... The picture doesn't really do it any justice, it's really blonder than this picture makes it out to be...

All I can say it OUCH!  Like, for real.  I will never and would not recommend anyone trying this... What I did was throw a bleach kit on my hair, all thanks to Sally's beauty supply, the lady at the store was the most helpful lady I've encountered at this location.  I was lucky to have her help me, she sold me a few things, the bleach and some extra proteins for my hair and then of course the blond color.  Holy crap.  My hair hurts!  I would not recommend anyone attempt to put their hair through what mine has been through this year.  And it's only February. Imagine how colorful the rest of my year will be. I've already picked my next color. It is the most awesome Gold color.  So cool.  It will be at least a month before I do anything else, color wise, to my hair.  For real. My scalp must have flamed up and me not notice.  Like for real.  Guess that is why it's the color it is.  It's really almost like sherbert or something.  ha ha.. But it isn't too bad. I've gotta deal with it for at least a little while. So hello and goodbye day 50, this hair pain sucks!

Oh!  I went  to my Mom's pre-op today. Eeep!  I don't think I really accepted this was really happening until today. I'm on the roller coaster again, feeling like I did when she first told me.  I know, I should be strong, and that is the only way she will see me, but of course, Im a nervous wreck again.  No worries, Im not seeking support and advise, I know, deep down it will all be okay.  Atleast I have some optimism, but of course there is the realism side to my thinking, there are always "what ifs"  I just know, if the "what ifs" come up, I'm not sure I will make it out of there either.
