Pumpkin carving and pumpkin patching is the best part of October I think.  A lot of good times picking out pumpkins and stencils to choose from.

Halloween!  WE LOVE HALLOWEEN and it's not all about the candy. OK OK it is mostly about the candy, but whatever.  We had such an awesome time trick or treating this year.  With the most awesome people and Pokey had a blast.  I have to say of  her 7 years of trick or treating this was the best, so far!  We really enjoyed ourselves!

November 2011

Thanksgiving Feast!

So I put on my brave face and hosted the Thanksgiving holiday at our new apartment.  It was a house warming slash dinner thing. It was so much fun and so stressful but very tasty. I'm glad we did it and hope we will do it again in years to come. If the Moms will let me!  :)  They tend to out cook me by a lot!!!

Our family, though kind of large tends to have a dinner as well, where we eat dinner (again) and draw names for everyone.  If ya remember we didn't draw for the adults only the kids and it was interesting not to let the cat out of the bag that the adults were giving all the monies to my parents for Mama Monkey Butts medical bills.   

We did hit the Home Depot  and got our Christmas tree. Tradition for  us is to put it up the day after Thanksgiving.  I think we did OK with that this year.  Got it done anyways!   I love the smell of real Christmas trees.  I love it. It makes the season all worth while! 

**In other news the really exciting part of November, not only did I hit the big 30.  Twilight Breaking Dawn premiered on my birfday and of course Lykke Li show a few days later.  Best birfday ever!  of all my concerts in my 30 years of life, Lykke Li may have been the best. May have been the one that will stick with me forever. I love her music on my cds it was something far better in concert.  If any one of you ever have the opp to see her perform, do it, you won't regret it. Her voice will just melt your soul!**

December 2011

MAX

 Our new little addition to our small family.  He was so cute then wasn't he?  He's still cute, definitely a lot better to deal with. Not all scared and shit!  Well still scared sometimes!

Christmas was fun this year. I played Santa at Mama Monkey Butts house.  That was....stressful. I'm staying away from that task next year, someone else can do that shit.  I got it done though and rawking my awesome bandanna that I gots from Mama Monkey Butt. 

Awesome Christmas times with the family and Mama Monkey Butt was feeling pretty good if I'm not mistaken.

Managed  to keep the holiday spirit.

So there ya have it. My year 2011.  It was an awesome year, mostly. We had a struggles with Mama Monkey Butt and her medical stuff. Moved around (again) a few times.  All in all though it was pretty much a normal year.  I'd like to think so anyways.

Looks like 2012 will be a bit different. I'm 30 now, guess it's time to "grow up" or something.

I look forward to sharing my 30s with you Dingleberries.  Thanks for hanging with me last year.  Let's hope I have a bit more to blog about this year.



2011, Farewell. (part 3)

Welcome back Dingleberries....  It's part 3 here. I think I've  a few new followers so far, so allow me to WELCOME those who are new!  Comment below so everyone knows you ;)  I'm glad you are here and hope you enjoy a day in the life of a Monkey Butt.  I'm excited for this new year, 2012. So peaceful.  Went for a hike.  I love summer!

Yea it looks like I may have done NOTHING for the 4th of July this year (2011) . If I'm not mistaken Pokey was with her Dad and I was just chillin.  Prolly up to no good, or sitting on my arse at home. Though I bet the family did a cook out thing or something. Ah I wish I could remember everything :) 

August 2011



Oh yea, almost forgot... bridesmaid in a wedding.  It was in NO WAY the highlite of my summer.  The wedding was BEAUTIFUL, the bride, the groom, the wedding party. I however was not happy in my dress or the fact that my heels were sinking in the ground making my already clumsy ass feel even more out of place. It was definitely an experience and a lovely one at that. Honored she chose me, but honestly I don't know if I want to ever be a bridesmaid again, ever! 

Tee Hee... Rehab concert. BEST ONE EVER!  lolz. I didn't have permission from the 2 fun stickered face folks, so they got fun stickers. Lucky Mr Monkey Butt doesn't mind!  We had a blast and I drank a little too much, again. 

We spent time at the parks in August as well.  The summer was quickly approaching an end and looks like I attempted to make the best of it whenever possible.  Yays! 

September 2011

Camping... It was......AWESOME.  Can't wait to do it again for 2012 and maybe... just maybe go a bit more prepared for camping. Hoping there won't be rain next time!

Well from the looks of it I wrapped up my summer quite nicely. I'd say all in all it was a very very awesome summer. Great times with great friends, great time with awesome family and a lot of sunshine and tanning lotion. 

Did I mention I love summer?  More than any other season, EVER?  Well just in case you forgot.

2011, Farewell. (part 2)

I won't babble to much here in this one, at the beginning anyway.  You all know what I'm doing, by now, I guess, if not you can find  part 1 of this episode here.  It's the first quarter anyways of my 2011.  I'm linking it there wondering what if anything I will do for the next post.  Should I link part 1 and park 2? Probably so being as they're prolly going to be about a week apart, just to avoid overwhelming myself  you!

 Doesn't look like there was much else to take pictures of in the month of April, imagine that.  If I'm not mistaken though I moved out at the end of April and moved to the 'rents house.  That being after my breakup and Pokey and I packing everything into a Uhaul and storage building.  Strange times, but those are past us now.  For that I am glad. Easter was fun (always is) the kids just love coloring the eggs and waiting for me to finish hiding them so they can go on the hunt.  Always a blast, a tradition for us, though it holds no religious value at all in our (my) life.  It's just something fun to do!

I'm hoping the girls don't hate me for posting this one.  For the last couple of years my dear friend Teeray hosts a Maypole party in May. It's always a blast, some of us might drink a few drinks and run around the may pole in an awesome style fashion.  Yea that is what happened this year and if I remember correctly I may have been one of those who drank a little too much. But it didn't matter, because it was fucking EPIC.  It was yet another glorious event with my lovely friends.  This pic here is just of the ladies in attendance of the Maypole party, of course their man friends or hubbys were around there somewhere!  It was also the first real outing for the white dress I'm wearing!  About time I wore it out and hey, I shocked myself by not ruining it that night either.  AWESOME!

Terrible hair times for me, not only is it blond but it so desperately needs a trim.

MOTHERS DAY! 
We all got together this day, and managed to end up on the trampoline.  Got some awesome photos out of it though and the girls had a blast!  There were a lot of females on that trampoline and the baby just LOVED it! 

A much needed day out, well another one. Met one of my lady friends downtown for a seeing of Kite to the Moon (I think that's the name of it)  Pretty good band, he tossed out stuffed animals for some reason I am not sure.  There was some name to the event going on downtown but for the life  of me I can't recall what it was actually called.   Oh that sign says Athens Human Rights Festival, that's what it was called!  Whatever it was, it was an awesome time with friends!

My niece celebrated her 7th birthday day.  Pokey (the one on the right) kinda looks pissed off. I'm not sure what that's all about.  My niece tends to spend the summers at Moma Monkey Butts house so looks like we went up there for the party. Awe and I'm sure it was so much fun. I love summer time!

Pokey and Monkey Butt go bowling.  Girl whooped my arse at bowling.  her and I were the only two people (aside from the employees) at the bowling place.  Jefferson, (where Moma Monkey Butt lives) is a small town with jack shit to do and well what little they do have isn't anything to write home about. But whatever, we enjoy our time when we can take it.

We need to take more of it!

So there we have it, coming into the summer months and nothing so far of any excitement.  Life is always exciting, but I remember 2010 I (we) did a lot of shit. Not so much in 2011 I guess.  I'm not sure that I'm complaining about that though.

So here we are again, January of a New Year. How exciting right?

January, 2011

Another Sponge Bob birfday celebration, the big 7 this year!  I decorated a bit more this year than last though and we shared the event with the lil niece.  Always a blast!

The newest addition to my tattoo collection.  Did I mention I'm adding to this one this year (2012)? It's hard to imagine it being anymore awesome, but I will find a way!  :)
I've got it all planned out and am thinking of other to add in 2012 as well, money permitting! 

Ugh~~~  SNOW!

Looking through my photos it looks like it must have cleared up and warmed up some later in January, I've some photos from the park.  The snow was.... as you all know, terrible. I remember we were stuck at home for a whole week!  YUCK! It wasn't a good time for me, I'm sure I've blogged it.

February, 2011

So my computer offers me no real pictures worth sharing from the month of February, how weird right?  I guess I did nothing of any real interest to me.  That or I forgot my camera every time I did. 
I did blog A LOT about quitting smoking, Mom's aneurysm and the whole "I want to be a cop" idea I had last year.  Which I haven't forgotten about or given up on. It's just going to take a little bit of time and well is one of the main reasons I decided to actually quit smoking.  So hey, if ya think about it. It's January of 2012 and I managed to quit smoking just before the year mark of me blogging  A LOT about it in 2011.  Less than a year....  Whewt Whewt. 

March, 2011

Ahhh I remember this, I bought a scooter this year.  Yea.... that lasted long.  I rode it all of twice I think, crashed into the bushes and cried a little on one trip.  I should have known better, I'm terrified of motorcycles!

Swimming lessons.  Let me add those were also kind of a waste of money.  She really didn't have much interest in it, but I really  wanted her to learn how to swim. Turns out we are better teachers.  Pokey hated not being able to hold her nose when she would go under water. She hated the goggles and hair cap thing. They are so cute though aren't they!? 

It wasn't so bad I guess, they did teach her a couple of things and it was something to do for a few Saturdays!


So, there we  have the first quarter of 2011.  It started off okay, the snow storm aside.  I hate the snow and I've noticed a few times, so far 2012, that when I mention my hatred for snow Pokey and Mr. Monkey Butt don't agree with me and I think they are wishing for the snow. 
For their sake, I hope they get it (secretly). I don't want to go outside and play but I will, because I'm a Mom and I rawk like that.
