Day 106, 2012

Friday, April 20th

Today was a day from hell. You all read that I decided, randomly that I would start the fruit diet?  Yea, well let me tell you how that went. I woke up this morning, all I wanted was COFFEE!  Wanting to be true to the diet and myself, I loaded up my cup with veggie juice.  ::gag:: Loaded my bowl with fruit, grabbed some apples and an orange, a banana and I'm out the door. 

Hours later, I've ate both the orange and one apple.  HUNGRY....

Time to go have lunch with Pokey, which I will say was easy. I hate hate hate school food and avoid it at almost all cost. Pokey was aware of my new  diet phase and had no problems with me grabbing another banana, another apple and a water.  GETTING HUNGRIER!

Head back to work, still hungry and getting grumpy.  Went back and all the the talk in the office of tacos... I'm sooo miserable, I ate my fruit bowl. The delish stuff I'd been saving all day, the strawberries, the mango, pineapple,  grapes. Yummy stuff.  Gobbled it down!! GONE!

Not feeling so hungry anymore, thank god. Still not satisfied, but it will do.

Few hours pass and it's still not time to leave. I'm fraking starving!! I need some food and I'm totally pissed at myself, because I just can't take it  anymore!!

Long story short, I had jambalaya with corn bread, green beans and mashed taters for dinner!  Followed that with the best brownies, EVER!  Then a cuppa coffee.  Yum Yum Yum!!!

My post card for April was laying on the kitchen table with the mail today. I was excited to see it and read what came all the way from Scotland.  Very cool!! I love this post card campaign because I just don't know when it will come!! Exciting!!

Day 100, 2012

Wut Wut I made it to day 100. How fraking cool is that? Not that I ever  doubted myself or anything. Hell I managed to get this thang done last year, no reason I can't get er done this year!    That being said there was no way I could just skip my 100th day. Though I'm pretty sure it would have been a better idea...earlier!  Just sayin!

Wednesday March 28th

Pretty uneventful day at work. I pondered the idea of dieting, again. It makes me so mad, because I know, though not the healthiest of ideas I wish I could just stop eating. It worked back in high school it should work now.  Ugh!  My problem with that is, I really just like food!  Yummers!

So let's move on, I don't want o deal with that shit right now. Dinner  Pizza was good tonight. I've been wanting pizza for like ever. bwhahah.. Yay pizza!!

OH!! Before I forget again, I got another post card the other day. Don't ask me which day it was, but here ya have it!! My newest post card!  Yessssss!!

Anyone catch my post last night where I played catchup on a quite a few days I'd missed, well only like a whole week, Here ya go.

I noticed all of your comments on the Marry Bacon post and if Bacon asked me to Marry him/her I most certainly would.  I'm hearing also of a Vodka that's made to taste like bacon. I'm not sure how I feel about this, or if I can justify spending the money on said Vodka.  I've a lot of bad memories of my Vodka times, not sure it's in my best interest to travel down Vodka lane again.  I will say this, from now on when I'm out to dinner or out on the town, I will inquire on said Vodkaness and if they sell it, I will take a shot and report back.  Anyone else try this? Anyone else hate vodka and try this?

In other news. I got my cell phone today, YESSSS!  As you can tell the camera  is back to work, taking my 365 pictures. 

Another bit of exciting mail today,

Another fabulous day in the life of a Monkey Butt today! 

Did you catch this weeks Monkey Butt post?  Awe you know you wanna, it's kinda funny, just sayin!

Anyways, lets see what else there may be to report for today, Mr. Monkey Butts birfday is coming up Saturday and I must run out to find him the "perfect" gift tomorrow.  I'm a terrible gift buyer, but I will tell more about that in a post to come... tomorrow? (I hope) Maybe he won't hate it though.  That wouldn't be any fun!

So all that being said, I will keep this short, but I did receive my first post card from the post card campaign today. So exciting.  It's so adorable and hand made and I just love it.  She's right, it's nice to receive some mail at times that isn't a bill.
