Thursday's Monkey Butt

Every day, every waking hour that I see, he's on that phone. Paying no never mind to those around him, not caring at all that his prego girl friend has some serious issues, emotionally or hormonal  (don't fear, there's nothing seriously wrong with me) or that the precious 9 year old needs some training with softball.

Then of course, today for TWO hours you ignore me you expect me to just think that you're working?  How does this make sense?  It seems as though, that phone and whomever is on the receiving end of it is far more important than anything at home.

So I'm to believe that doesn't apply at work?

My Voicemail Proclamation!

So my voice mail is set up and it's a friendly message saying the normal stuff, "Hey this is Me, sorry I missed the call, leave a voice mail". I'm thinking about changing it. I have this problem with people, they will call, it will go to voice mail and rather than just leaving me a message. They hang up and call right back.  Very frustrating to me, especially if it's done repeatedly.  I'm talking ring ring, VM, hang up, call back.  Nothing makes me MADDER than being on the phone, call waiting clicks in and rather than taking a hint they call back over and over and over and over again! Gah!    I'm debating on changing my voicemail message to make it easily understood for these unanswered callers. 

"Hey asshat if you've reached this message, it means either A) I DON'T want to talk to you B) I'm busy or C) I'm on the other line!  This doesn't mean hang up and HARASS me by calling me 15 more times. It simply means grow a brain and leave a fucking voicemail.  Have an awesome day! asshat!"

Wow that may be a bit harsh, but I think they could get the point?  What do you think?
