Music For A Tuesday: Sigur Ros

It's been a helluva Tuesday... I didn't make it into work this morning, damn car trouble.  My car sure does know how to mess up a perfectly good day!

It was such a hectic day with attempting to charge the battery and walk through the woods to borrow Papa MB's spare battery.  Way to start a day.  Took just long enough for it to be a waste of trip to take Pokey into school. Apparently it's pointless to bring kids in past 11am.  Is that normal?  I've never tried that before, so a first for me!

The end of that video was terrifying! 

 

So as I was saying, it was a helluva day. I'm getting ready to drag my butt to bed, but I didn't want to skip today's post.

 

Plenty of other posts to work on as well, but  I need sleep.

 

Totally pissed off that The Walking Dead comes on this weekend and I'm not going to be able to see it.  I hate Dish and AMC. How dare they not be available to me! 

 

In other, sadder news... I think that our buddy Rhino (the guinea pig) is sickly...Or something. I don't quite know. I hope he doesn't die

Hello my dear Dingleberries,

It's time for my weekly posting of 365 postings, a day late, I know but whatevers. I'm running it through today because whatever that creative post I was working on earlier, it's gone now.  Riddled with bad feelings and an upsets stomach. Big surprise there... So where were we.  FYI I can't seem to upload these photos onto facebook anymore, wonder if the album is full or something. I'm pretty sure facebook hates me!  Has anyone friended the MB on facebook? I'm at itsamonkeybutt ... I guess is how you could search for that, ha ha.

Monday October 1st

Oh well moving along. I've recently found a show called Halloween Wars.  I'm pretty much loving it. Anyone else seen it? 

It's on one of those food channels, food is looking good these days but nothing seems like anything I want to be eating on!  Which is unfortunate! 

They're working on these super awesome pumpkins and cakes and all sorts of things. It's really awesome, or so I think anyway!!

Tuesday October 2nd

Speaking of food stuff, we went to a Taste of South event tonight at Pokeys school. They're showcasing their lovely gardens at school and also their local farmers markets. 

I'm so happy to see the classes growing things, having a garden and compost bins and everything else. It's really awesome for me, because I love that.  Where we moved from they didn't do things like this. The school food sucks, everywhere, but at least they are attempting to teach the kids, hey food doesn't always suck and I guess really it's the parents fault for sending them to school with money to purchase said nasty school food.  Live and learn I guess.

The book of face reminded me today that the new season of Walking Dead starts in 6 days!  6 DAYS!  This is  load of shit. I'm so mad at Dish Network for not offering AMC. And  if it's not their fault then I'm so mad at AMC. It's probably best of me to just be angry at both of them, because they can't come to the middle with this little problem. Bull shit!

I so desperately want to watch it this season and they're going to mess that up for me. Way to go MB getting the worst satellite company EVER!  Always knew I didn't want the dish.

Work has been the normal, OMIGAWD please make the day end.  I was reminded today that there isn't anyone there I can talk to.  By that I mean rant and rave and piss and moan.  We're back to the trust no one days.

So as you may have noticed I forgot my picture for Friday ::facepalm:: I'm not loving that.

We were so fortunate as to do some more yard work stuff over the weekend and while moving some cement thing they had ran through the yard for the a/c drain we found this little snake. No idea what kind of snake it is and I know the picture isn't that great.

We had some sunshine for a bit on Saturday. Mr MB did scoop him up and toss him into the woods though.  Here's to hoping he/she doesn't make anymore appearances around here and I especially do not want to see Mama Snake. I hate snakes, not as much as spiders. But I hate snakes.  Speaking of spiders... There is one in the bathroom... I've lost him/her. I saw it hiding in the corner this morning and saw him/her sneak into the crack at the ceiling.. It's gone now.  I'm not loving that!!

Sunday, October 6th

So here I am at the end of another post. So far it's a random mess, but ya know MB has to have at least one of those in a week.

I'm working on the award post, GBM tagged me in an award last week or so and somehow I've gotten carried away and busy at work and just haven't gotten it all done.  I think I've actually done something to where I'm going to have to start over, because copy and paste came over all wrong :/ Bummer!  I did want to say many thanks for the award though and expect to see it posted this week.

Mama MB is feeling .... OK. It's required lately that she take the pain meds. I just wish they would work better. That her pain would get better. I guess maybe she has hit a point in her treatments and illness where things will be painful. They're blaming age and arthritis and the likes, but this doesn't seem possible. Usually those things are better controlled, where it's at right now.  she hurts all over and though the meds seem to help it's not going away.

Keep those thoughts and prayers coming, mine are going out into the world still for my Dear Dingleberries and their struggles.  :))

Thursday's Monkey Butt

Hello and Happy Thursday Dingleberries. 

It's getting lateish already.  Let me just say this is total BS that the days aren't long enough anymore.

 

These monkeys drive on the right side of the car?  What's that one doing in the floor?  Hot wiring it? 

 

 

Remember that movie Jumanji?  Anyone? This totally reminds me of the part in that movie where they release the monkeys from the game and they end up stealing the cop car and blowing parts of it away with a huge shot gun. I'm easily amused! Especially if there are monkeys involved.

 

Something smells....funny. I don't know what it is. Kinda smells like an old person...odd!

 

 

There are still zombies in the woods.. They're not smart zombies though. They haven't figured out how to make it to the house yet.  The ghost is still present at times I think. Maximus is still a spaz and for some reason has a problem pooing outside. I'm ready to choke up.. In a nice way!

 

Anyone have anything awesome to add? Any awesome monkey photos or stories to add to my future Thursdays?  What about the oh so fabulous art work I wanted? 

 

I should hit the bed... tomorrow is Friday. What would be fabulous for tomorrow?

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I'm Loving the news regarding the oven issue a few months ago. I say these photos should drop some serious hints on the subject... Just sayin'!

I'm Loving it's Zombie month.. I'm not loving Dish and AMC for not being able to watch The Walking Dead this year!  Bastards!

I'm loving it's breast cancer awareness month!  Pass it on, raise awareness!!

I'm loving it's October. That means pumpkins and Halloween and changing leaves.  I hate cold weather, but I love the fall. Weird how that works?

I'm loving you guys and my friends and family.  For always being here and there and everywhere!  

I'm loving those who are willing to send me art for my MB office!

I'm loving that I've finished this post.

Music for a Tuesday: Rehab

For those who have been around for a while, you know how MB feels about Rehab band.  They're one of my favorites. I heard this one on the way into work this morning (didn't forget the iPod today). Thought to myself, hey mine as well share this one with my Dingleberries.

Probably one of their most popular songs, even people who aren't really familiar with the sweet sounds of Rehab band know this one.

On the book of face last week or so they created a group for support Danny Boone.  Who saw this story?  So apparently at one of their shows...  They're alleging that Danny Boone punched a man in the face.  This all happened way far over in Fargo.  Being a drunk bastard he thought it was a good  idea to interrupt the music by acting like a damn fool.    A punch in the face or not, if you act like a damn fool at any show.  You deserve to get yo arse knocked out.

It might just be me, but he should feel damn honored to have been socked in the noggin by Danny Boone. I'd  never disrespect the man or anyone else (within reason) but if I did I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to get myself knocked in the head too.

Read the story it's insane. Of course there are two sides to every story and as you imagine, Danny Boone and the Rehab fans have the complete opposite to say on the matter.  

So this beer is for you man, Keep on socking em!  Enjoy the inside of the bar!

The office....space....

So I've a random post for tonight.. Wait?  What? Random?  Me?  Never!   Just a short one though, because I'm tired.

So I haven't done any new house posts.. Well not many anyways. I'm actually quite annoyed and overwhelmed at times with the amount of space (or  lack there of at times). 

 The living room other than the book shelf is pretty much done... Pretty much!  It needs something on the walls, but that's always a problem I deal with. I can't ever seem to find something/anything I just love.  If I do then nothing matches it.  Maybe I could just place randomly all of the things I find on the walls.  Could be a new trend? 

I blogged about this one last night on my 2012 posts... I think. That one photo, Sunday's photo still isn't working for me.  I don't know what's wrong with it.  It keeps telling me I have to upload a picture or video... Uhm, what is it exactly you think my photo is dear Blog of mine? 

So this painting, no idea who painted it. We found it at the thrift store over the weekend.  I really love it. I'm sorry the lighting is so craptastic in my living room/bar area. 

It actually goes quite nice in the random spot I decided to place it.  I'm happy I found it and even happier that someone painted it and then donated it.  Awesome find!


OK OK, so I'm done talking about that ... Moving on.

I have an office space here at the new place.  Ya have read me blog about that a few times, recently asking you all to donate some artwork for my walls. I've a few pieces I'm excited to get on the walls. Check out this one.. Sissy MB actually drew this one for me!

Sissy MB can draw can't she?  I love this.  I think I may demand her add some color to it though. Ya feel me?!

So another project of mine.. in the office.. I've no organization in that room.  I need more furniture and less furniture.  I can't stand this whole figure out rooms and stuff.    Here's all I got so far.  Did I mention I got a desk/table thing from Granny MB?  I love the piece just not sure what I'm feeling with it.  Ya can't really see it in this picture either.  I need shelves and book shelves ... or both? 

It's a mess... Don't judge me!
