I'm Loving ... the weather is posta be warm again tomorrow.  Think we will get lucky and it stay that way?  MB can hope... right?

 

I'm Loving ...  I finally found time to watch the most recent episode of The Walking Dead tonight.  Love love love it!

Another Mashed up Monday

Happy Monday Dingleberries!  We're back at work this morning, waking up with a head ache and wanting to puke all over anything that stepped in my path this morning.  We're lucky to have made it in at all.

Pokey has decided she also doesn't approve of the 6am alarm clock. I think we're on the same page right now. Waking up that early realllly sucks and it's cold outside. I think I will stick with carting her to school myself. Means more sleep for my lazy arse, her's too. Also means we don't have to wait in the cold car for the bus lady to arrive. It's like a win win.

So this shall be a sort of Monday Mash Up kind of post for you all today.  Thanks for stopping by for real, so sorry for my slackness lately. With the holidays and birthday and my being so very broke lately. It's just a depressing time for me right now. Still looking for a way to buy everything my darling Pokey has on her list for Christmas this year. The lack of money this time of year is the most depressing part and it never fails!  Always broke. There has to be a better way!

33 hunnnnnndred dollars for the diamond version of this ring.  Only 220 for a topaz version.  Isn't it sooo pretty!  Love it!  Maybe they will finance my broke ass?  lmao!! 

Mr. MB's mom picked me up this pretty necklace for my birthday. I'm wearing it now, it's been a long while since I've had  a necklace. The last few I had came from Mama MB.  I still have pieces of them, but my darling Pokey managed to rip them right off my neck when she was little. Kids are good at that aren't they? 

I'm officially caught up on The Walking Dead. Or at least  I think I am.  I'm on edge wanting to know where they are going with it. This is why I hate being caught up, then I've nothing new to go home to.  Kinda sucks from time to time.  The mid season finale is coming up soon as well.  Why do they do that anyway? Mid season finale.  That's silly!  How dare they make us wait like that?!!?!  So far it's good though, I'm surprised at who is there and who isn't and still crushing on Darrell. He's such a hottie!

So I'm sure most of you noticed last week I totally bombed my postings.  That means I didn't get them posted. I think I got Friday and what Tuesday? Which are OK, but I missed out on the Monkey Butt Thursday and What I'm Loving Wednesday  which honestly I don't think I've finished in a couple of weeks. Pretty epic fails there on my part.  I've gotta do better. You all know my excuses though and sometimes they really are valid ones!


Mama MB made it through Thanksgiving, she's still Hanging in there!  I think she's getting some bed sores and hoping Papa MB doesn't forget to mention it to the nurse. Perhaps they can offer a bit of advice for us in the matter. Still no foods for her, she's drinking water....sometimes.  We're down to just the liquid morphine right now. She hasn't taken much of anything else, that I'm aware of.  So if it's working, I guess that's what we can be thankful for. She's such a fighter. Sometimes I wonder what she's hanging on to. What's keeping her going. Ya know?  If it were me, I'd given up a long long time ago I'm afraid.  It's hard!  Other than you fine Dingleberries, I've not many people to talk to, not and actually get any support from.

So I think there were a few more things  I was going to bore blog about today... Sadly they're lost to me right now. For some reason I just can pull them from my memory. I think perhaps it has something to do with how random this post has become.  That's OK though, that's what Monday's are for. Right?

Hello my dear Dingleberries,

It's time for my weekly posting of 365 postings, a day late, I know but whatevers. I'm running it through today because whatever that creative post I was working on earlier, it's gone now.  Riddled with bad feelings and an upsets stomach. Big surprise there... So where were we.  FYI I can't seem to upload these photos onto facebook anymore, wonder if the album is full or something. I'm pretty sure facebook hates me!  Has anyone friended the MB on facebook? I'm at itsamonkeybutt ... I guess is how you could search for that, ha ha.

Monday October 1st

Oh well moving along. I've recently found a show called Halloween Wars.  I'm pretty much loving it. Anyone else seen it? 

It's on one of those food channels, food is looking good these days but nothing seems like anything I want to be eating on!  Which is unfortunate! 

They're working on these super awesome pumpkins and cakes and all sorts of things. It's really awesome, or so I think anyway!!

Tuesday October 2nd

Speaking of food stuff, we went to a Taste of South event tonight at Pokeys school. They're showcasing their lovely gardens at school and also their local farmers markets. 

I'm so happy to see the classes growing things, having a garden and compost bins and everything else. It's really awesome for me, because I love that.  Where we moved from they didn't do things like this. The school food sucks, everywhere, but at least they are attempting to teach the kids, hey food doesn't always suck and I guess really it's the parents fault for sending them to school with money to purchase said nasty school food.  Live and learn I guess.

The book of face reminded me today that the new season of Walking Dead starts in 6 days!  6 DAYS!  This is  load of shit. I'm so mad at Dish Network for not offering AMC. And  if it's not their fault then I'm so mad at AMC. It's probably best of me to just be angry at both of them, because they can't come to the middle with this little problem. Bull shit!

I so desperately want to watch it this season and they're going to mess that up for me. Way to go MB getting the worst satellite company EVER!  Always knew I didn't want the dish.

Work has been the normal, OMIGAWD please make the day end.  I was reminded today that there isn't anyone there I can talk to.  By that I mean rant and rave and piss and moan.  We're back to the trust no one days.

Saturday, October 5th

So as you may have noticed I forgot my picture for Friday ::facepalm:: I'm not loving that.

We were so fortunate as to do some more yard work stuff over the weekend and while moving some cement thing they had ran through the yard for the a/c drain we found this little snake. No idea what kind of snake it is and I know the picture isn't that great.

We had some sunshine for a bit on Saturday. Mr MB did scoop him up and toss him into the woods though.  Here's to hoping he/she doesn't make anymore appearances around here and I especially do not want to see Mama Snake. I hate snakes, not as much as spiders. But I hate snakes.  Speaking of spiders... There is one in the bathroom... I've lost him/her. I saw it hiding in the corner this morning and saw him/her sneak into the crack at the ceiling.. It's gone now.  I'm not loving that!!

Sunday, October 6th

So here I am at the end of another post. So far it's a random mess, but ya know MB has to have at least one of those in a week.

I'm working on the award post, GBM tagged me in an award last week or so and somehow I've gotten carried away and busy at work and just haven't gotten it all done.  I think I've actually done something to where I'm going to have to start over, because copy and paste came over all wrong :/ Bummer!  I did want to say many thanks for the award though and expect to see it posted this week.

Mama MB is feeling .... OK. It's required lately that she take the pain meds. I just wish they would work better. That her pain would get better. I guess maybe she has hit a point in her treatments and illness where things will be painful. They're blaming age and arthritis and the likes, but this doesn't seem possible. Usually those things are better controlled, where it's at right now.  she hurts all over and though the meds seem to help it's not going away.

Keep those thoughts and prayers coming, mine are going out into the world still for my Dear Dingleberries and their struggles.  :))

Monday,

February 20th

I'm quite proud of myself today. I got a good bit of reading done today, so anyone who hasn't seen a comment from me today, I'm sorry, I'm still trying to get them all read.  It's a Monday ya know?  It wasn't quite as busy as a normal Monday around here, well a normal Monday here lately.

So I'm blogging because I've a full agenda for tonight. Possibly doing the grocery shopping as well as finish up the laundry, make dinner, give out baths and clean clean clean. Plus there is the matter of my neglected exercise machine and Walking Dead series. It's time to blow the dust off the machine and the DVR because I'm determined to get on the machine and watch an episode, killing two birds with one stone.  Yessss!!!

So with that I leave you, good day and good night Dingleberries, hang in there!

No snow or anything here, frozen steps and windshield, nothing too bad I guess.  We're suppose to have more rain at the end of the week. Damn!  Spring is almost here though.  I am so excited!  Longer days and warmer weather, yessssss!

Damn Friday the 13th. Definately an unlucky day for me. I got off at my exit for work and found my eye  terribly uncomfortable. I knew then it was ripped. UGH!  Of course it's ripped. Terrible!  So I lasted as long as I could with the ripped contact and finally just had to pull it out of my head.  So I spent a few hours with no good vision in one eye and took off work early to go to the eye dr.  137 dollars later, I've ordered contacts and have a pair in my head. Sonofashitbitch. I hate spending money like that especially in my current financial situation.  BUt atleast now I have no worries for 6 months!  I guess!  Just glad Friday the 13th is OVER!

Oooops no picture of myself today. Lucky you!  haha... Somehow I forgot. I didn't do much on Saturday though. Hung out around the house mostly. Went to pay my storage bill and took a nap!  Lovely. No one died when I woke up so it worked out, I guess!  Hung out with a purdy cool friend that night. We watched a whole bunch of zombies.  After Zombieland, which is one of favorites.  Woody Harrellson is a total HOTTIE in that movie.  We watch an episode of "The Walking Dead" not to bad and of course "Resident Evil 5" I totally have a girl crush on Milla Jovovich!  She's so purdy. Fun night to say the least. Just hanging out with cool friend. Awesome!

Was a pretty good day today. Didn't do to much. I did finally decide to talk myself into venturing out to Athens. It was fun to get out.   Went to the "Human Rights Festival" saw a guy in a fur underwear thing. It's a whole other world down there. Went to see a band called "Kite to the moon" they were pretty good. Different. But ok! 

This was the part of the show where a bunch of dressed up people came out and threw toys out into the crowd. I told you they were...different. The lead singer was rawking a pretty awesome red hat though! 

All in all it was a pretty awesome weekend. The week wasn't too bad either, with the obvious exception of the damn ripped contact!  Have a great week next week and am off to catch up with the blogs I've missed!
