Day 231 and 232, 2012

Just a quick post for tonight,  I want to hit the bed early tonight for the long day ahead of me tomorrow.  Baby shower in Toccoa, GA. Which is roughly an hour or two from my house, with a pit stop at Mama MB's to pick her and my niece up... Exciting!!

Day from hell today and yesterday at work.  One of our customers decided it was a good idea to be a complete jerk.  All because I just can't seem to control traffic.  Go figure!!

Oh, before I go... We got a closing date today!!  Our first closing date!  August 30th.  I'm not letting myself get excited yet, just  in case, but it's going to be pretty awesome if it works out!!

Tuesday, July 10th

So hello Tuesday!  I'm feeling aights. A bit tired, a little stressed with the house stuffs and shit.  Filed an extension today with HUD, more money down the drain and still no closing date!  Gawd!   That makes me a little mad, but what else can I do?  Just wait and wait some more I guess! I can't wait until it's over.  Like I told Mama Monkey Butt, this will be the ONLY time I purchase anything like this.  I guess everyone else is already ahead of me though.  Right?

I'm attempting to watch some True Blood tonight!  I'm three episodes behind and honestly I was just dying to watch some Twilight, but Mr. Monkey Butt has packed away my movies.  ugh! As long as the darling Pokey doesn't come running in while some vampire and human is getting their swerve on I'm doing OK.

Yea my weight issues have spawned.  HA!  I'm kidding, I thought this was funny though. It looks like I have a new fat roll crease.  Too funny, ya see the way I amuse myself at work?  This was about  lunch time for those who are curious!

More rain?

Time to leave work and I spot this cloud lingering over the shop.  Another night of rain I suppose.  I'm sure though who find it necessary to complain, CONSTANTLY, about how hot it is down here this year?  Shut the fuck up, it's raining to cool it off?  HELLO IT'S SUMMER!?!?!  Why do you keep yourselves in one of the hottest parts of the country if you hate the hot weather!?  Riddle me that asshats?!

Sunday already? 2012

Happy Sunday my Dingleberries!  I'm seeing posts from Pablos  Angel and According 2 Jewels for the awesome post cards.  So glad they are trickling their way to their destinations.  A little piece of Atlanta for all of you out in your corner of the  blogosphere!  :)

It's been a normal weekend around here. Spent time with Mama and Papa Monkey Butt. Got some cleaning done and spent a few minutes at the pool.  I'm still super tired and painful! I'm walking in the afternoons trying to help work it out, it isn't really working.

I've hit a bump in my social life, I just really don't want to spend time with anyone, mainly friends.  I don't know why. I think it's my depression or something.  I hate  it really, but hopefully it will push me to work harder to get  past my down times right now!  Fingers crossed, right?

Yummy dinner at a local Chinese place after getting all off Pokey's hair chopped off.  She seems to love it but worries, constantly that it's going to grow back before daycare Monday (tomorrow) morning. She's so silly!

Spent the day with Mama and Papa Monkey Butt, got home just in time to take MAXimus out before he exploded.  One of the asshat maintenance guys came by while we weren't home to fix the a/c I'd already fixed and turned our thermostat down to like 71!  WTF?!  People crazy!  The windows were foggy it was so cold.  IDIOTS!

July 8th, 2012

Got my hair trimmed up, thank gawd and added some dark brown color to it. I'm diggn it.  We discovered after purchase and getting home for application that it's a temporary color.  Ooops, oh well. I'm fine with that. I'm sure some of it will hang onto the hair anyway. Works for me!

Hope everyone had an awesome weekend. It's back to work tomorrow, which SUCKS!  But whatever,  5 more days until the weekend, again. 

The finance people are wanting to have the paperwork done tomorrow.  So maybe we will be closing soon.  I'm hoping anyways.  ready to get this move on...  :)

Hopefully we will see ya tomorrow, they're saying the interwebs may go down with some new virus stuff or something... Whatevers!

Thursday, June 21st

It's Thursday, pay day for me and let me just say I'm super happy about this.  I guess that's pretty normal for all of us who work and all.  Whatever.  My....financial institution .... the damn bank. fudged something up this week and aparently I have no money.  Meh, guess that's no surprise!  :)  In other news, now I can give them all my money and we'll both be happy!  Right?  Yea for a minute anyway. Then I give all the money away again. 

That's some bullshit really!

In post card news, the remaining post cards are going out tomorrow.  Ran out of money last week and wasn't able to send them out then.  that's OK though.  They will be heading your ways tomorrow!  Yays!!  For those who are not in the USofA I have no idea how long that will take, but I'm hoping they arrive before the end of the month!

The bank people called, home financing bank people... Getting the paperwork together and some more monopoly money and we should be good to go.  The contract expires like the 16th of July, so I imagine they will have it done by then. Yea.... I haven't packed a single box.  I'm really not looking forward to moving... again.  I guess that just means I won't be moving again, at least for a while, right?

We're going camping tomorrow!  Yessss!  I may be broke, but lucky me... That's what camping is all about, but I'm not pretending to be poor.  I guess I shouldn't say poor, I wouldn't know what poor means.

I saw a man, and I worried about him for a bit. He was standing on the curb at a busy intersection and he looked...well poor!  He was really wobbly though.All I could worry was that he'd get ran over or something.  Maybe he didn't!

I'm tired....  Looks like I will be away for the weekend again.  Pretty excited about that. Then again when I get excited, things fall through. Regardless, I will most likely not be blogging this weekend, but we shall see!!

Tuesday, May 29th

The end of May is upon is, June will be here before I know it. I'm actually doing a 30 day project on the Facebook for June. It should be interesting I think. I don't think I'm going to share it on the blog though.  I think I've got enough shit for the rest of my life and why the hell would I want to put anything else on hold for a month? Though I could ditch all of my other stuff for a month..

What are your thoughts Dingleberries?  It's a simple photo project for June that I'm doing.

Oh wells.  I didn't mention that camping was pretty fun.  I told you Pokey and Mr. Monkey Butt hated it. Especially the hiking. Po Max is still laying around like he's an old man.  It's hilarious.

We did indeedy sign the papers for HUD and should have a move in date sometime in like a month or so. Eeeep!  This is of course pending the financing, which looks promising!

My hair is still bright red, did you notice? It's kind of growing on me. My younger cousin attempted the same and didn't get the same results as me. Po thang had to buy something else.  Maybe she will have better luck!

Monday, May 21st

Monday already?  Well that isn't fair if you ask me, but I vowed not to complain this week. I think I've done OK so far(it's only Monday ya know). I'm taking a staycation this weekend, for the holiday. Not going anywhere, just taking some much needed brain rest from work.

Found out today we gotta get some fundage (money) together for the home purchase to go through, knew that was coming.   Gotta work on that this week, arg!   Trying not to get my hopes up too high or anything, but I'm hopeful. I'd love to be so close to Mama Monkey Butt again!

Pokey had her last Girl Scout meeting tonight.  The celebration thing (is that what it's called)?  A few girls crossed over as did some of the Boy Scouts. Pokey got 2 patches and I'm one proud Mama.  :)  Plus there are 2 more days of school, she's sticking with the good behaviour and should be rawking those new tall converse shoes this weekend.  She's super excited, did I tell you!?

I'm tired, like all the time here lately. I don't know what's up with that Oh wait, yes I do. It's called staying up late.  Go figure!

Day 127-130, 2012

Good morning dearest Dingleberries. I'm hoping everyone had a fabulous weekend and for those mommies reading, I hope Mothers Day treated you well. I had intentions of logging in last night, doing some reading, updating my days and of course wishing everyone a Happy Mom's Day. Sadly, I failed at doing so.  I did catch up on some facebooking and spent little time doing all that fun stuff. When you're away all weekend, it's easy to fall behind.  I'm sure all of us with Facebook addictions know exactly what I mean. I fall of the wagon every chance I get in regards to Facebook. What can I say... I love it!!

So it's Monday, still no sunshine, well not much anyway. It rained all day on Mom's Day and quite a bit the day before as well. So needless to say we had a very ducky weekend. I will say I'm glad it's over, because it was a hectic weekend.  Spent some very very boring hours moments fishing on Saturday. Gawd fishing is soooo boring. It was lovely to spend the time with Mama and Papa Monkey Butt though.

My daughter amazed me with her ability to bait her own hook with live bait ::pukes::. I missed my Papa dearly, haven't been fishing since we were kids and he was probably there. He loved to take us fishing, but he always baited our hooks and if we caught something he would unhook it as well.  I gave up and  stuck corn on my hook all day. I couldn't stand the thought of getting fish blood or worm guts all over me. Yuck!  Pokey didn't need much instruction, she watched it once and had it from there. That's my girl!!!

Mother's Day was as it always is, a running around the world or so it seemed.  Last year, oh how nice a year. Pokey and I were living with Mama and Papa Monkey Butt and I didn't have to go anywhere.  Ahhhh that was nice.  This year we had to run to Mom's and then of course run to the other side of the world to Mr. Monkey Butts Moms. Well we met them for dinner anyway. A pretty tasty country cooking place, love the way things seem to just fall into place. What turned into a going to their house ended up with us on the other side of town eating dinner. Not too shabby, but wow was I tired.  Still no end in sight either. Thought we would be grocery shopping as well, that cancelled real quick as Mr. Monkey Butt decided a no go on that.  Ugh I need to shop for stuff and didn't. I hate that!

Glad it's Monday. Though I'm going to have to miss Girl Scouts tonight and attend a graduation for one of my dearest girl friends.  Should be awesome to see her graduate. I missed her HS graduation, so this one is a must go!!  So proud of her!!

In other news, we may have some hope still with the property we are trying to purchase. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but we were able to see it this weekend and it's do able I think.  I'm hoping, but not too much hope. Right?  Let's hope anyway! Mama Monkey Butt will love us being that close and well Pokey is super excited to be there as much as we are.  Should be super awesome.  If it works out :)

Monday, May 7th

Monday already and surprisingly it was 5pm before I was really prepared.  Our owner is running to VA tomorrow to tow a piece of equipment back to GA. I offered to do it for him, but of course he wouldn't take the time to show me how to operate the truck. Bastard! Not that I want to be a tow truck operator, but it would be nice to take a trip out of state, pretty much on someone elses dime!  Guess that's why he's doing it himself.  Doesn't have to pay anyone. He didn't even ask me to be on call tonight. Cheap bastard. 

We've been calling and waiting all day for some kind of word regarding that property we were checking into.   It's really annoying. I see red when I think about it really.  A total pain in the ass.  The world today sure has made it really hard for people like me to purchase a house.  Strange world we live in .... So much for that "American Dream"  right?  Frak!!

Girl Scouts meet tonight... I swear I'm still saying that shiz is a nightmare. If that woman yells at my kid like that, I will snap her fraking neck bones.  She came in and yelled at those kids, told one of them to close her book and pay attention.  OMG I could have freaked out and if it had been my kid I would have.  Her mother wasn't happy about it either, but she didn't say anything about it (to her face). It went as well as it ever does. We still aren't signed up (registered) and they're posta do that next week. But they did put Pokey's name down to get 2 possibly 3 of her badges that she has completed since we've been going. We have to work on the money management though. Which she will enjoy because there is a little paper elf thing in the back that she has been dying to play with!! 

Pokey made my a Moms Day gift tonight at Girl Scouts though.  A purdy potted flower for me to keep for always... Awes!!! I lerve my Pokey.

Now what the frak do I get my Mom for Mothers day ::face palm::

Hey Hey Hey my dear Dingleberries. How the hell you been the last couple days?  I tried really really hard to put a dent in those blogs I've slacked on reading. I think I did OK at that!  If I've missed anything, hang in there, I will get to it.  I always do...Don't I?  Yea, that's what I thought!!

Wednesday, May 2nd

Field Day.  Major nightmare-ish.  What seemed like 24397298754837 2nd graders, a lot of screaming and sunshine. My first time on Field Day duty and I don't remember Field Day being like that when I was a kid. I remember it being hot, but come on.  Oh well....  It was fun, Pokeys class didn't come in last, but they didn't do well either. I think they had fun!!

A short day at work, off early and then home home home...  Went for a bike ride and our new thing is dinner at the pizza place (it's 99 cent kid night).  It was all good fun though.

Sitting here, on the floor against the couch, blogging, listening to Futurama play on the television and watching Max watch me wanting to go outside, or something.  He's just  a turd, "Turdius Maximus".

In other news, surprising news. I'm, we've started a home buying process. It's a HUD home, whatever that means, conveniently located in the same neighborhood as my mothers home.  Go figure it's really close. LIKE RIGHT NEXT DOOR CLOSE (literally).  I talked to like 3 people today, one lady at the real estate company, really nice and  helpful, the agent handling the property and a man at Wells Fargo. He wasn't my favorite, but it has to be done. They want some prequalifying thing...Or something.  This is my first time, so we will see where it goes. They may shoot us down and it not work out.  At least I tried.  If it doesn't work, it just isn't suppose to happen there. I guess. If it works out it has tons of potential and it's only like 40K. Not bad, I hope!   Will keep ya posted!!

In other news, hit up the taco night and now I'm supah tired.  Seems as though Mr Monkey Butt and my sister are both suffering with the sinus congestion that I had earlier in the week. Sucks this weather is being weird and making people sick.  GO figure!!
