Day 252, 2012

It was a slow day today at work, I was able to catch up on some reading, posting and trying to get some of my book reading done as well.  I actually need to get back to that but for now I will babble a few words for you all.

Lots of great blogs today and of course the 9/11 posts from yesterday. Seems like a lot of you do different Wednesday posts as well.  They're a lot of fun aren't they?

Mama MB seems OK today, had some back pain and her epilepsy was bothering her today as well. I wish she  didn't have so much on her place. That she  wasn't dealt her card in life. That she hadn't been given so much to go through in this life.  She's a tough one though.

Also want to share, before I scoot out of here, one of the bloggers I follow lost her hubs this week to brain cancer. A very sad story and a long rough road for them both.  My thoughts and prayers for Tashi and her late hubs Wash. He's in a better place.

So everyone that's all you get for tonight.  I'm a busy girl ya know?!

Hang in there!

Oh the waiting. ...

The suspense is killing me.  Mama Monkey Butt is back to her routine, Thursdays at the chemo clinic. Can I call it that?

I attempted to call my grandma aka Granny because she takes her to her appointments and is responsible for spilling the beans as to what, if anything, the Dr tells Mama Monkey Butt.Seems she (Mama MB) can't be trusted to spread the word! Bless her heart it's just in one ear and out the other as of lately.

So I'm asking again, because I don't know what's been said or not, but pray for good news from the Doctors this morning, regarding Mama Monkey Butt's CTscans!

A Tale of Strength (a repost)

Well Dingleberries, today I'm running a repost, a first for me I think. I posted this back in March and friends are telling me that Tashi is preparing for the end with Wash.  Makes me sad.  I wish her all the best and please take a minute to visit her blog and donate if you can.

So times are hard and things are rough. I know this, I deal with this on the daily. But some people have it harder than any of us can ever imagine. I'm taking this time on my blog here to share with you the tale and life of Wash and Tashi.  Two amazing people with hearts as big as anyone you know. Tashi and Wash are newly weds, well 3 years so.  Wonderful couple who right after being married Wash became ill with terminal brain cancer.  Very sad story and though it's riddled with sadness, it's also a story about strength and awesomeness. So I bid you take the time and check out the blog Learning to Hope. If you've got the money throw some there way.  She's taking care of him with little to no support from their state.  donate here
