After many failed attempts through out the day to catch a photo that didn't make me want to puke, I was able to capture one while standing in the kitchen last night.
I wasn't able to hop online due to exhaustion from the driving last night, but I'm here now and have plans to be back later as well with today. This is for yesterday, as you can already tell.
Not too bad of day, managed to get caught up at work with my auction stuff for the weekend. Auction coming up this weekend, nothing to write home about, that's for sure!!
We went to have dinner with Mama and Papa Monkey Butt last night. It was great fun, Granny Monkey Butt (that's my grandma, I call her Granny outside of my blog) was there, I really enjoy seeing her as often as I do now. I hate that Great Papa Monkey Butt (that's my grandpa, we called him popa, he passed away in 2007) passed away many years ago, but I must say it's nice knowing she's so close now. That's wrong, somehow, isn't it?!
Tasty dinner and time to catch up. We chatted on the phone the other night and it's really sinking into my brain the things she said. I don't know if I'm ready to share my thoughts on those. I don't think that my thoughts are really all together at this point either. It's a lot for me to take in and well it's a lot of accepting, because really. Sometimes you just don't think about everything.

At the time what I considered bitching, I now realize that it was wise to trust what older people say, most of the time they have already been through what we call hard times and they came out fine.
