Day 8, 365 days of 2011

Hello there fellow bloggers/ readers/ followers.  It's day 8.  I'm relatively happy to announce I was able to make it out today!  Whew and what a day it was.  I went to work for only about 5 hours, but my bill collectors will be happy.  Well some of them *winks*.  So it's day 8 and once again I'm filling this day 8 with all the joyous things that went on today!  But low and behold... Me on day 8.  I'm not sure the expression on my face, I was actually kind of surprised I was able to get this in one take.  ha ha.  That doesn't happen to very often, not for me anyways.  So BAM!  Go me!  Go me!  Go me!  Yes I really am slightly shot out.  It's okay, you still love me!  Just admit it, we will all feel better when you do! I'm tired... Here is my 'fun' for today. I blogged yesterday? that I tried to escape the apartment complex in the SUV with no success.  Well today it was attempted again, not by me, mind you and no!  Damn thing still wouldn't do it.  Rear wheel drive is stupid!  Wasn't I blogging in "American Muscle" ranting and raving about taking away the rear wheel drive? WTF!  But... my darling Camry rang Champion today!  She made it in places that no SUV could go.  I tip my hat to my darling car, and it's time NOW to name this darling car of mine! 

Yes!  There she is!  My little princess champion of the day!  I am so proud of her and slightly of myself for maneuvering her through the weather!  She did awesome!  Now for you my bloggers, can you help me name this precious princess of mine?  Can't name her Princess, because Devil Cat is aka Princess! So, ready, set, NAME!  A little insight on the life of my car. I bought it in 2005 and it had some problems and kinks, but I think it's safe to say they've been worked out, or rode out anyways.  She has like 250,000 miles on her.  And yes!  I've always had "chic" cars, by that I mean, my cars have always been "hers" . I'm rawking the black bumper, because I've replaced it and never had it painted. The fender you see in this picture was also once black, but I purchased some white spray paint last year and took care of that, rust was impending.  So there you go, a little background on the nameless Champion of today!  You readers must think I'm seriously challenged.  But I've warned you many times how random I am and well how bored I find myself, which sends my thoughts into la-la land! Lastly for today... Our adventures at work.  I said I made it in today and I was glad for this, however it was necessary for me to take my daughter to work with me. *grumbles*  She loves to go to work with mom, but lawdy it can drive me bonkers sometimes.  This was the fun part of work today...  That whole hill which comes down into

workplace was ICE!  Just a nice sheet of ice. No one was ever able to pass down this hill, nor go up this hill.  We attempted to walk up this hill, I gave up and drove my fearless champion up the other hill which I should have taken a photo of, but dammit I forgot! It took me 3 shots to make it up the other hill, it was a mess at work today!  But some of us made it in and made it out alive.  I'm hopeful for tomorrow and my daughter will be heading to her dads in the morning, for the day.  Which will make my work schedule a little more bearable tomorrow!  All in all it was a pretty good day bloggers.  I hope all was well for you all!  Good night my readers, I'm hopefully going to get back to other random blogs again soon, right now it's just erratic with work and snow and everything else!

Day 7, 365 days of 2011.

Lookie lookie, a cookie, I'm kidding. It's a whole 7 days since Ive started this project.  Oh how awesome.  7 days= 1 week.  It's more fun to say week!  but of course, tomorrow will be day 8, no cool week word for that, OoOoOo can't wait for 14 days, that will be 2 weeks, yay!

Sorry readers, I'm bored right now and late with this today.  I almost forgot, shh, I didn't say that!  It's true though, I almost forgot my 7th day photo today. This is my problem, I get distracted, all of the time, and forget almost anything.  However, today was no excuse, Ive been so bored for like 2 days now, it's unfair!  We were unable to go to work, yet again, I was however able to get my daughter back today! 

I did try to venture out to get her, buuuuut, and here it is.  I got the DAMN SUV stuck in the snow or mud or whatever.  I was totally pissed. I'm almost positive had it been my little car I would not have gotten stuck, she would not have failed me like that.  I was furious and all the people in the complex, yes everyone, I got stuck in the snow/mud inside my very own apartment complex *cusses*.  So I tried to get up a hill, asfuckingif, that suv was having no part of that. I roll my arse back down the hill, while lady in the little green car sat there laughing I'm sure, she then went on up the hill I was unable to get up, I'm pissed.  So I circle around the next street which is less hilly and make it around to where I was heading to begin.  Make it past the speed bump, yay!  Spin Spin, shit I'm stuck again, even madder this time, because I was sure it would go well.  Grumbles/Cusses again.  Rolled back, rolled back, people staring, why wont the car go this way, CUSSES, and no I'm STUCK! UUUGGGGHHHHHH!  Yes I'm furious again! and stuck- stuck- stuck- not moving, ever again, call the ex, call the tow truck.  SHHHIIIITTTTT!   I did not call the tow truck, it's just how I felt at the moment!  So we finally get the SUV unstuck, I can't say we, I did nothing but stand there and look.  Crazy drunk man from the building behind the stuck SUV felt it necessary to say that 5 people had been stuck there and that he could assist for like a 12 pack or something, holyfuckingshit are you serious!  I mean whatever happened to just friendly neighbors, courteous shit and shit.  Fricking drunk folks, I would not have felt a twinge of guilt had he busted is arse, but of course!  No such luck!

Well to wrap it all up, the ex was so kind as to bring Pokey all the way to the gas station just beside the apartment complex.  THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES OVER.  I have not seen my Pokey in like  a week, because of this horrid snow.  I'm very happy she is home home home and in bed right now.  *happy dance*

But I'm not sure what tomorrow holds, the television said tonight that every state in the US had snow, except Florida!  Wow, even Hawaii.  Weird.  I hope this ends soon. I cannot wait for the warm weather. I'm so excited.  But I just know, it wont come fast enough *cries*.

Day 6, 365 days of 2011...

Well me dear bloggers, it did indeed drop a lot of snow last night, don't get me wrong, it's pretty but it's also very inconvenient.  I am stuck here at home now, we did venture out to the local Kroger, WE WALKED.  It was COLD. But of course, that's what snow is.  So in light of all this fresh but cold arse snow, low and behold my day 6.

I made sure to dress extra warm, being as I'm just getting over that retched cold.  Ive got more layers than I knew I could put on including 2 pairs of gloves. I had every intention of being warm on this adventure. I think I did okay.  My toes were chilling and strangely when I disrobed some when arriving at Kroger, I felt like I was sweaty, which I'm sure can be a very bad thing in this weather.  Luckily it was a short trip!  The television is making sure to repeat over and over again how terrible it is and I believe they have put Georgia under and state of emergency or something.  How odd, they call snow a state of emergency. It's unfortunate all of the northerners finding themselves in ditches around here.  Georgia is to blame for this, we aren't use to this horrid weather and everything kind of shuts down when this happens.  Its redonkulous!  I'm hopeful the sun will shine and make it all go away.  Or perhaps hells fires can blaze up and melt it all away.  Something, please?  I won't complain about either!  hahaha..
So for all of your viewing pleasure, I shall share some of the snowy pictures Ive gotten thus far today. I'm not sure Ive any intentions on going back outside. So this may be all I have to show for this lovely awful snow! 

haha.. I was being a weeny and took this from the kitchen window.  Kitty was pouncing around me wanting to get outside, altho like I said last night, she was pretty furious with me for putting her down in the snow last night.  Silly kitty!

hahah look someone abandoned the shopping cart right there, I didn't even notice that.  It was slightly scary to walk down the sidewalks with all the people driving by, its like, oh no, will they lose control?  But alas we made it back alive and am now sitting comfortably on the couch with high hopes that all will stay well and we lose no power.  For that I fear will be the worst part of this winter storm.  Lack of power sucks sucks sucks!  Oh and last night they claimed they had thunder snow?  Thunder Snow?  So it's thundering while snowing.  Whatever happened to "thunder storm"?  The things that people say.

No No No!

SONOFABITCH it's snowing like MAD here. It's been going strong for what only seems like an hour and we have like an inch of snow.  I fear this may be bad!  Like I may be stuck in this apartment for a day or so with no way of getting out of here.  How often I wish for something like this, but never mean it. Not by any means.  Maybe on a nice summer day when Ive saved a sick day for a day I feel better. But not like this...

 The snow flakes are pretty, if I didn't hate them so.  Oh and kitty absolutely HATED the snow, haha.  I had to take her out in it, her first time.  She damn near clawed me to death!  Mean ole kitty!

Awe my poor lil car getting all snowy.  I just know she is hating it as much as I am.  She will be furious in the morning at me for leaving her out in this weather.  Ut oh... Once again, good night readers, I'm sure I will have a lot of white pictures to blog about tomorrow! 

Domesticated?

Oh looky looky, a year and a half here and Ive finally gone domestic!  Aweeeee!

Ive got a curtain thing in my kitchen!  It's cute!  Its got little coffee cups and writings like latte and cafe au lait on it.  It's adorable.  I think it was time for a kitchen curtain thingie.  What do you think?  So I found myself bored on facebook and thought I would run through here, I'm working on some writings as a page on my blog, but of course I am in no position to actually publish it for reading. I'm sure it sucks, I am no writer.  But whatevski.  Here I am blogging randomly, again, and showing you all my new curtain thing.  :)

And now I'm off to clean again, or something.. Oh wait, I'm making dinner!  Goodnight to my readers.  I'm off to be bored some other way. 

Oh and I'm attempting to quit smoking TOMORROW.  Oh lemme make it through this time.  :)

Day 5, 365 days of 2011

Hello there my fellow bloggers/ readers/ followers.  I hope you are all having a wondermus day!  Today is okay, I would say.  Although I remembered this afternoon that the letter the apartment complex left on my door expires tomorrow and they will be entering my apartment to change out the busted blinds hanging in my windows, Thanks Princess aka Devil Cat!  So I make the mad dash to Walmart to pick up blinds, lucky me, only 2 needed a replacing!  For that I am happy.

So today is my 5th day, going strong, with my project.  It took me about 15 pictures to get this one, but no where does it say you can't pick and choose to get one that is just right?!  Does it?!  Oh well!!

I'm not very talkative today, I guess, I feel the need to clean clean clean today and my vacuum is feeling slightly neglected.  haha.. He's very envious of the mop which I was playing with earlier.  Best be careful it may decide to pack up and move out on me, for that I would be very sad.

Day 4, 365 days of 2011.

I'm a little surprised that I've managed to stay strong with this project, and yes, you will hear me say that more than once during this year.  I remember last year, the hardest thing for me was to remember my project over the weekend.  Something about the weekend, all of my logic just goes right out the window. Humph!

(Day 4)

It's 3 minutes until 12pm and I am still sitting here with my laptop on my lap!  Yes that is a roll of Christmas wrapping paper laying on my couch with the television remote control and my purdy pink mouse!  Maybe I should clean something?  But you know, I just don't want to!  The apartment is pretty clean right now, except for the random shit like that roll of Christmas Wrapping paper.  :)  My next plan is to finish this blog, get my arse up, get dressed, WARMLY and head out for the day.  Seems as though I have quite a few things to do today!

For starters, my work requires me to take some photos of some junk cars we are to rid of this month
Secondly, I need to hit up the beauty supply store and get some new color for me hair.  Yes I said it, I'm changing my hair again.  Tomorrow will be a whole new me, yea right, new hair, same ole me!
Thirdly, I really want to check out the wig store and see what they have for black haired wigs.  I miss my hair, did I tell you that?
Fourthly, go gets me hair done!  I am excited. Am a little torn between purple and blond, but I will figure it out, *fingers crossed* the ladies at the beauty store can offer me some help and advice! 

Good day my readers.  I had a very strange dream last night, but I will save you from reading about that.  TIME TO GET MOTIVATED and get myself off this couch and out of this house!  The news people are telling us we should have like 6 inches of snow tomorrow.  That is some HORSESHIT if you ask me, I'm not happy about it and I'm hopeful he came into work DRUNK this morning and is wrong wrong wrong like they usually are!  Everyone pray "NO SNOW FOR GA"  Got it?  Thanks
